UVA MUSIC FACULTY

Exciting news! I just joined the piano faculty at the University of Virginia this fall (2023). Here is a picture of the beautiful lawn and Rotunda.

SOLO PIANO RECITAL AT GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY

I had the pleasure of performing a solo concert for GU's Friday Music Series in October 2023. I also visited the Live Music in Context class to discuss the program and new music advocacy.

VA MUSIC TEACHERS ASSN STATE CONFERENCE

I attended my first VMTA conference in November 2023. This picture features the performers from the Teachers Concert. I had a wonderful time meeting colleagues and making new friends in music.

MASTER CLASS FOR GONZAGA COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL
I had the pleasure of giving a master class for piano students at Gonzaga in Washington, DC in February 2023! The students did a great job and afterwards I got to spend some time with them talking about my career in music and answering questions.

MUSICIANS CLUB OF WOMEN
I am now a member of MCW, a wonderful organization based in Chicago that promotes women in classical music. As someone who is passionate about playing music by women, I am honored to be part of this group.

UKRAINE BENEFIT CONCERT
On behalf of the Rome School of Music, Drama, & Art at The Catholic University of America, I organized a benefit concert in April 2022 to help the war victims. It was a beautiful presentation of many talents for a deserving cause. Read More

PARIS CONCERT
Flutist Robert Cart and I gave a wonderful performance of new music at the American Cathedral of Paris in May 2022. It was so lovely to be traveling again and a dream to be back in Paris. Look for more of our performances next year!

ATLANTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL
I had a blast in summer 2021 in residence at the Atlantic Music Festival as a Contemporary Ensemble fellow! We premiered over 50 works in 6 weeks!

DNMC SPRING CONCERT SERIES
I was invited to perform for District New Music Coalition's Spring Concert Series in 2021, where I premiered a brand new work by Lynn Dixon and played music by William Kenlon, Jennifer Margaret Barker, and Faina Lushtak. Watch Here!

MUSIC ON THE 8THS

It was great to be featured on the first Music On the 8ths concert on April 8, 2021, a new series dedicated to showcasing Newcomb College alumnae from Tulane University!

WE ARE ONE COMMUNITY GRANT

Thank you to the Casa Italiana Sociocultural Center of Washington, DC for awarding me a We Are One Community grant in 2021! As an artist during the pandemic, it was greatly appreciated.

NCMT

I became a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in 2020. This certification comes from MTNA, the Music Teachers National Association.

EMERGENCY RELIEF GRANT

Thank you to ArtsFairfax for awarding me an Emergency Relief & Recovery Grant in 2020! This grant helped lessen the financial impact of the pandemic on me as an artist.
